Kate is the Director of Communications and External
Programs at Northwestern University’s School of Communication.
In this position, Kate oversees the creation of the School’s
award-winning alumni magazine and manages programs such as
the international Media Seminar trip to Paris and the national
Internship Program. The internship program connects students
with communication professionals for a ten week internship
experience, and under Kate’s direction has doubled in
size in two years.
Kate’s previous experience includes four years as a
Change Management Consultant for Accenture. Kate worked with
clients to develop and implement communication plans and training
plans, both internationally and domestically. Kate earned
her bachelor of science in Communication Studies at Northwestern
University, where she currently is pursuing her Master’s
degree in Communication. Kate has been an active volunteer
in the IABC/Chicago chapter, and most recently served as the
Associate Director of Membership.
