Networking Event for Prospective and New Members

Join us for a networking event aimed at prospective and new members of the IABC/Chicago chapter.

How to get there:    

Take the Brown, Purple, Orange, Green or Pink trains to the Wabash/Randolph stop.  Walk one block east to 150 N. Michigan Avenue.

Take the Blue train to the Washington stop.  Walk three blocks east on Randolph to 150 N. Michigan Avenue

Take the Red train to the Lake stop.  Exit to Randolph and walk two blocks east to 150 N. Michigan Avenue.

If you are driving, there are self-park garages in the area: Grant Park (north) garage and another on Randolph between Wabash and Michigan.

On the program for this event are:

Shannon Quinn is a vice president at L.C. Williams & Associates, where she specializes in media relations and media training for spokespersons and corporate executives.  Shannon will present, “Tips to make your executives more effective with the media.”  She has provided strategic counsel for clients including both start-up technology shops and Fortune 500 corporations.  Shannon’s current clients include U.S. Cellular, La-Z-Boy, Electrolux and Eureka.”

David Grossman, IABC/Chicago membership director, will provide an overview of the chapter and benefits of membership.  He will be able to answer any questions you may have about the IABC, the Chicago chapter and how your participation in the organization can benefit your work.     

Join us for an informal evening of networking, learning and fun…with a sweeping view Millennium Park and Lake Michigan.  The event is free, but you must register by June 1.  This event is open anyone, including new members, who wants to learn more about the IABC/Chicago chapter.  For more information, contact Sarah Zipse.
