Networking Event for Prospective and New Members
October 18, 2007, 6:00 - 7:30 pm
CME Group Visitor Center, 30 S. Wacker Drive, Chicago (directions)

Want to learn about the merger of two futures trading companies in Chicago – the CME/Chicago Board of Trade? Curious about the benefits of an IABC membership? Join us at a networking event for prospective and new members of the IABC/Chicago Chapter.

Featured Speakers:

Allan Schoenberg, Director of Corporate Communications for the CME Group, will be our host for the evening. In July 2007, CME and the Chicago Board of Trade completed their historic merger to become the world’s largest and most diverse financial exchange. Learn how the merger has progressed since its completion and the role communications has played – and will play – in the combination of these two exchanges.

David Grossman, IABC/Chicago Co-President, will provide an overview of the chapter and benefits of membership. He will be able to answer any questions you may have about the IABC, the Chicago chapter and how your participation in the organization can benefit your work.

Join us for an informal evening of networking, learning and fun. The event is free, but you must register by October 15. This event is open anyone, including new members, who wants to learn more about the IABC/Chicago Chapter. For more information, contact Sarah Zipse.
