"Attaining Excellence in the Field of Business Communication"

Bronze Quill Award Ceremony and IABC/Chicago Volunteer Recognition Gala

Please join IABC/Chicago for a special “grand finale” celebrating our 2008-9 program year. At this after-work event, we will

  • Present the 2009 Bronze Quill Awards, honoring excellence in the field of business communication
  • Pay tribute to our cadre of volunteers—the lifeblood of our organization

Don't miss this chance to help IABC/Chicago celebrate an outstanding year! Network with the winners, learn what made their entry special, see highlights of the winning entries, and come away with some great tips to create your own winning entry in 2010.

Past winners have told us that winning an IABC/Chicago Bronze Quill Award is a great portfolio builder that helps build credibility within the industry and their organizations and proves to prospective clients and/or employers that your communication work can produce results.

Attendees will also be able to learn about IABC/Chicago’s outstanding career development volunteer opportunities. The skills you gain from volunteering can easily be applied at work and help you stand out from the competition in today’s tough job market.

So join us as we celebrate a year of greats – outstanding communication strategies and tactics and the volunteers who tirelessly work to make everything we do seem easy. Enjoy heavy appetizers and dessert, complimentary non-alcoholic beverages and a cash bar. Attendance is open to all.
